Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing

Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center is a diploma nursing program located in Lewes, Delaware. Since its inception in 1921, the School has held a strong tradition of academic excellence and extensive clinical experience in providing quality nursing education.

To meet the need for increased numbers of Registered Nurses, The School of Nursing will embark on an extensive building and renovation project by fall 2012. This will enable class enrollment to double in size and provide the latest in technological and academic instructional methods.

The School of Nursing offers a comprehensive National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission- accredited nursing curriculum that prepares graduates for the demands of a diverse healthcare profession. The superior clinical experiences gained by our students prepare them to move seamlessly into the healthcare setting. Beebe graduates typically score best of all Delaware schools on the nurse licensure exam.

In June 2011, the Ma-Ran Foundation established by Randall and Peggy Rollins awarded $3 million to the Nursing Education Campaign. The Board of Directors of Beebe Medical Center decided to acknowledge this generous gift by renaming the school in honor of one of the donors, Margaret H. Rollins.
